WorkBuddy

Overview

WorkBuddy is an AI tool in the Productivity category, pricing set by the vendor. Available on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, 鸿蒙. Official site: workbuddy.cn.

Key features

• One-sentence briefs: describe the outcome in plain language instead of breaking it into steps
• Plans and executes on its own: it splits the task, sequences the steps and delivers, rather than only advising
• Handles several task types: documents, spreadsheets, slide decks and data analysis
• Works on local files: reads folders you authorize for batch cleanup, renaming and format conversion
• Deliverables you can ship: the documents, sheets and decks are ready to use, not drafts to rewrite
• Connects to the Tencent suite: Tencent Docs, Tencent Meeting, QQ Mail, WeCom, ima notes and more

How to use it

1. Download the client for your platform from workbuddy.cn (macOS, Windows, HarmonyOS PC, plus iOS and Android) and sign in to the workspace
2. Describe what you need in one sentence, for example "turn this sales data into an analysis report with charts"
3. Use "Choose workspace" at the bottom left of the input box to pick the folder this task may use, or add context with @ references and drag-and-drop uploads
4. Review the outputs, all files, changes and previews in the right-hand results panel, then keep typing to refine the same task

Where it fits

• Reports and meeting minutes — Give it a topic or a raw transcript and get a structured document back
• Turn a data file into charts and findings — Upload a spreadsheet and it analyses, visualizes and explains what it found
• Build a deck from a brief — Describe the presentation you need and get a deck you can present
• Deep research with a written report — It maps the search path, cross-checks its sources and delivers structured conclusions plus a comparison matrix
• Batch-clean local files — Rename, group and convert files by rule, which suits overflowing downloads and asset folders
• Everyday email and weekly updates — Draft and rewrite email, and roll a week of progress into a status update
